Zinc Saves Kids– Zinc is deficient in the diets of many children in third world countries. The best way to get it into the diet is to put it in fertilizer. The fertilizer increases crop yield and bio-fortifies the crop with zinc. The crop is then distributed through normal channels and kids obtain the zinc that they need to insure proper growth and development. This is really the way that we should all obtain the nutrients that we need, through a balanced diet and it all begins with a proper balance of nutrients to encourage crop growth.
